LIMITE, made in 1931, was the only film that Mário Peixoto finished. Since its first exhibition, it has been an object of particular interest and eventually became a cult film. After having been restored, it was released again as a motion-picture film in 1979. In 1996, it was once again restored by DECINE-CTAv, the Audiovisual Technical Staff of FUNARTE. Then it was remastered in Betacam Digital format in 1997. The photographs used in this film belong to DECINE-CTAv and to Mário Peixoto Archive Institute. This CD-ROM provides information about the people and the events related to the production and restoration of this film. It also shows pictures and plays the original soundtrack from Limite.
